The incident involved a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling westbound along the roadway, approximately one mile east of U.S. 169. The details leading up to the crash are still under investigation, but preliminary reports indicate that the motorcycle suddenly left the paved surface, 

entering a ditch beside the road and overturning in the process.Authorities say that the rider, whose identity has not yet been released, was traveling at the time of the accident. For reasons still being determined, the motorcycle veered off course, which might have been caused by a variety of factors such as road conditions, driver error, or an obstacle on the road. 

The Harley-Davidson then entered the ditch and flipped over, causing the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to provide aid and assess the rider’s condition.Emergency medical personnel transported the rider to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the crash.
