In a significant development, Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, was arrested in Florida on federal charges related to a high-profile attempted revenge killing of fellow rapper Quando Rondo.  According to an FBI affidavit released on Friday, the 32-year-old rapper allegedly paid for a plot to target Rondo in 2022, resulting in the fatal shooting of Rondo's cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, at a gas station in Los Angeles.  Durk, now facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, was taken into custody in South Florida after authorities discovered he was attempting to leave the country.  Five other members of Durk's Chicago-based rap collective, "Only the Family" (OTF), have also been detained, with further arrests anticipated. Florida authorities announced the arrests of three suspects in the slaying of the rapper Foolio last month. Two suspects remain at large. The arrests were linked to an ongoing feud between rival gangs, according to Tampa police. Charles Jones, known as Foolio, was fatally shot on June 23 in the parking lot of an uptown Tampa hotel. Police found two vehicles that had been shot at in the lot.  The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrests on social media, identifying the suspects as Sean Gathright, 18, Alicia Andrews, 21, and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21. Andrews and Chance face charges of premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm and conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm. Gathright is charged with two counts of premeditated murder with a firearm, three counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder with a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence. A woman was found dead near Burnt Oak, Oklahoma, and a man has been charged with her murder. Jalal Debella, who was born on September 20, 2001, is scheduled to make an appearance at the Willesden Magistrates' Court on Saturday, May 11, to face charges of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. The Old Bailey will hear his case on Tuesday, May 14, and he was remanded to appear there. At around 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, police were called to Burnt Oak Broadway in response to reports of a stabbing that had occurred there.   Officers, members of the London Ambulance Service (LAS), and members of the London's Air Ambulance (HEMS) all descended onto the location where a woman, aged 66, was being treated for injuries caused by a knife.  It is a tragic reality that she passed away at the site, despite the best efforts of the rescue personnel.
