Lemuel Silisia, affectionately known as "the Destroyer" in the boxing ring, passed away in Australia, leaving a profound void in the boxing community. A native of Laugwata Village in West Kwara’ae, Malaita Province, Solomon Islands, Silisia's journey to the boxing world was marked by determination and an unyielding spirit. Upon settling in Tamworth, New South Wales, Silisia found employment at a local meatworks factory. This job not only provided him with a stable income but also allowed him to pursue his passion for boxing. 

Known for his fierce tenacity and powerful punches, he quickly earned a reputation in the local boxing scene as a formidable opponent. His moniker, "the Destroyer," aptly reflected his aggressive style and relentless drive in the ring.


Tragically, Silisia's promising career was cut short following a boxing match in Australia. He suffered severe internal bleeding and collapsed post-fight, necessitating emergency surgery. Despite the medical team's best efforts, he succumbed to his injuries, sending shockwaves through the boxing fraternity.
