In a heartbreaking incident on Tuesday night, two teen brothers from Morningside High School in Inglewood lost their lives in a two-car collision in Playa del Rey. The accident, which occurred just before 8 p.m. in the 8800 block of Vista Del Mar near Dockweiler State Beach, also resulted in serious injuries to two other students, including a younger sibling from Bennett-Kew Elementary School.

The fatal crash involved a Honda Accord, driven by one of the teen victims, and a Tesla SUV. According to reports, the head-on collision left the driver of the Honda Accord dead at the scene. One of the passengers succumbed to injuries while en route to the hospital.
