Brian OShea Yonkers NY Obituary : Brian OShea Death : Former American Boxer Brian J. O'Shea Sr Passed Away

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Former American Boxer Brian J. O’Shea, aged 50, on Thursday, June 13th, 2024. Brian, a man deeply cherished by his family and friends, lived a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Born on September 7, 1973, to Joseph and Jackie O’Shea in Yonkers, Brian spent his days surrounded by those he loved most, creating a legacy of joy and companionship.

Brian is survived by his three beloved sons, Brian, Justin, and Christian, who were the center of his world. Their mothers, Myra and Jessica, also survive him, sharing in the love and memories that Brian created. 


His father, Joe, and his sisters, Kelli (Steve) and Jennifer (Oscar), remain to cherish his memory. Tragically, Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie, and his stepmother, Barbara, whose absence he felt deeply throughout his life.

Brian's nephews—Stephen, Anthony, Joey, and Noah—were also a significant part of his life, bringing him pride and joy. He grew up surrounded by a close-knit group of friends, especially the O’Dell crew, who were like brothers to him. The bonds formed with these friends lasted a lifetime, filled with countless memories and shared experiences.

In the weeks leading up to his passing, Brian had the opportunity to spend precious time with his loved ones. He celebrated his father's 80th birthday with the O’Shea family in the Hamptons, a joyous occasion that brought the family together.


Following this, he enjoyed a vacation in Mexico with his friends, relishing the beauty and relaxation of the getaway. His final days were spent in quiet reflection and companionship with his son Christian, ensuring that he departed this world surrounded by the people who meant the most to him.

Brian's friends and family will forever remember him for his vibrant spirit and infectious zest for life. Known for his sense of humor and the joy he brought into every room, Brian had a unique ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. 

His loyalty to his friends was unwavering, and his fun-loving nature made him the life of every gathering. To many, he was affectionately known as "B," a testament to the close and personal connections he fostered throughout his life.

Brian's life, though cut short, was filled with moments of happiness and laughter that will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy is one of love, friendship, and a remarkable ability to bring joy to others. As his friends and family mourn his loss, they also celebrate the vibrant and spirited life he lived, cherishing the memories and the laughter he left behind.
