2 killed, 4 injured in south Minneapolis shooting

Tragic news has shaken the Minneapolis community as law enforcement sources confirm to FOX 9 that a devastating shooting incident has resulted in the loss of one Minneapolis police officer and the deaths of two other individuals. The incident, which occurred in a neighborhood south of downtown, left a total of six people injured, including two officers and four civilians.


Details are still emerging, but Minneapolis police have confirmed that at least four civilians sustained injuries during the shooting. The situation unfolded in the vicinity of Blaisdell Avenue and 22nd Avenue, where police presence has intensified as authorities respond to the crisis.
