According to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, a tragic shooting occurred in Lowell, Massachusetts, on Friday, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the injury of a third.
Police were dispatched to a residence on South Walker Street at approximately midnight in response to reports of firearms. The incident took place there.
Upon their arrival, they found a woman and a man with gunfire wounds inside the residence. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, and authorities confirmed that his injury was self-inflicted.
The woman was promptly transported to a hospital in the Boston area after suffering a critical injury. She was subsequently declared deceased, despite the endeavors to save her.
