Megan Nicole Kingston, a vibrant and cherished resident of South Jordan, Utah, passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 27. Born on April 15, 1997, Megan was known for her bright spirit, infectious smile, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. 

A beloved daughter, sister, friend, and community member, Megan's untimely departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Megan grew up in South Jordan, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors, often spending her weekends hiking the picturesque trails of Utah, camping with her family, and photographing the stunning landscapes. 


Her passion for nature was matched only by her dedication to helping others. Megan graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Social Work, driven by her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her. She worked tirelessly as a social worker, where her empathy and kindness made her a beacon of hope for many.

In her personal life, Megan was known for her artistic talents. She had an incredible eye for detail, which she showcased through her love of painting and drawing. Her artwork, often inspired by the natural beauty of her surroundings, was a testament to her creative spirit and her ability to find beauty in the everyday.

Megan was a beloved member of her community, known for her volunteer work and her unwavering support for local causes. She was a regular volunteer at the South Jordan Animal Shelter, where her love for animals was evident in her dedication to ensuring they found loving homes.

Megan is survived by her parents, Michael and Susan Kingston, her siblings, Emma and Ryan, and her grandparents, who cherished her dearly. Her family, friends, and community will forever remember Megan for her kind heart, her joyful presence, and her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. 

A memorial service celebrating Megan’s life will be held at the South Jordan Community Church on Saturday, July 20th, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the South Jordan Animal Shelter in Megan’s honor, ensuring her legacy of love and compassion continues to make an impact.
