Eugenia "Jenny" Da Silva, who had been reported missing after failing to return home from work five days ago, has been found safe, according to confirmations from her family, friends, and police. Da Silva was last seen on Friday leaving her workplace in Woodstock, Ontario at 5 p.m.
The police have confirmed that she has been located and is now with her family. They also stated that foul play is not suspected, and there are no concerns for public safety. Da Silva’s sister and cousin confirmed her safe return.
Her sister expressed immense gratitude on Facebook, writing, “We are incredibly grateful for all your support, prayers, and efforts in helping us find Jenny. We are relieved and overjoyed to share that she has been found safe. During this time, our family kindly requests privacy as we come together and support one another.”
A friend of Da Silva, who had been organizing search efforts through a Facebook group, announced that those efforts are now cancelled. The community’s collective relief and happiness at Jenny’s safe return underscore the solidarity and support shown during her time missing.
