On June 30, 2024, Jane Logie of NZ peacefully passed away at Ashburton Hospital with her beloved partner, Mark Slaven, by her side. She was 50 years old. Jane was the dearly loved partner of Mark and the special mum to Samuel, who will cherish her memory forever.
She was a treasured daughter of Jan and the late John, and a much-loved sister and sister-in-law to Andrew and Amanda, as well as Rob and Ali. Jane’s warm and caring nature also made her a favorite aunt to all her nieces and nephews, who adored her deeply. Her extended family, including the Slaven family, held her in high regard and loved her dearly.
Jane's kindness and love left a lasting impact on everyone she met, making her passing a significant loss to all who knew her. She had a special way of bringing joy and comfort to those around her, and her absence will be profoundly felt by her family and friends.
The family invites those who wish to honor Jane’s memory to send their messages to Jane’s family at PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, located on Main Street in Methven, on Wednesday. The service will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share their memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many hearts.
Jane’s legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her family is deeply grateful for the support and love they have received during this difficult time and looks forward to honoring Jane’s life with those who shared in her journey.
