David's contributions to the cause of liberty were immense and far-reaching. As a prominent figure at the Cato Institute, he was instrumental in shaping the institute's vision and strategy, guiding it to become one of the most influential think tanks advocating for individual liberty, free markets, and limited government.

His intellectual rigor and unwavering commitment to these principles earned him respect and admiration from colleagues, policymakers, and thinkers around the globe.

Throughout his career, David authored numerous articles and books that have inspired and educated generations of libertarians. His seminal work, "Libertarianism: A Primer," remains a foundational text for anyone interested in the philosophy of freedom.

His ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity and passion made him a sought-after speaker and a persuasive advocate for liberty.

On a personal level, David was more than just a professional guide; he was a mentor who offered wisdom, support, and friendship. His guidance helped shape my career and my understanding of the importance of our work.
