William "Will" Kent Hendrickson, 17, of Bolivar, Missouri, tragically passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in a heartbreaking accident. Born on August 8, 2006, Will's life, though brief, was marked by a vibrant spirit and an infectious enthusiasm for life that touched everyone around him.


Will was known for his boundless energy and zest for life. From a young age, he demonstrated a keen interest in sports and outdoor activities. He was an active member of his high school's football and basketball teams, where his teammates and coaches admired his dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership on and off the field. 

His competitive spirit was matched by a deep sense of camaraderie and a genuine desire to see his friends and team succeed. Academically, Will was a bright and diligent student. His favorite subjects were science and history, where he displayed a natural curiosity and a love for learning. 

His teachers often remarked on his insightful questions and his ability to think critically about complex topics. He was an active participant in school clubs, including the debate team and the environmental club, where he worked passionately on projects aimed at promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.

Beyond his academic and athletic pursuits, Will was known for his artistic talents. He loved playing the guitar and was a self-taught musician who could often be found strumming away in his free time. His love for music was a source of joy and comfort, not just for him but for everyone who had the pleasure of hearing him play.

Will's kindness and compassion were evident in his everyday interactions. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
