We are profoundly saddened to deliver the news that Ron Tumpowsky, our dear friend and longtime partnerships consultant, passed away on Friday. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their two young sons.
Ron's absence leaves a significant void in our community, where he was deeply cherished for his old-fashioned charm, dry wit, and, most importantly, his boundless kindness. His presence brightened the lives of countless colleagues and friends, and his legacy of warmth and generosity will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Peter Sallick, the Founder of DLN, shared heartfelt words in memory of Ron: “Ron’s contributions to the DLN community cannot be overstated. From the outset, Ron had a clear vision of how to do something I had never seen done before, and he made it happen.
Beyond his accomplishments, though, I will miss his energy, loyalty, and friendship.” These sentiments echo the profound impact Ron had within DLN and beyond, as his innovative ideas and tireless dedication helped shape the community in remarkable ways.
Ron’s professional achievements were indeed remarkable, but it was his personal qualities that endeared him to so many. His ability to combine professional excellence with genuine kindness made him a rare and invaluable asset. Ron’s charm and wit could lighten any situation, and his thoughtful nature made him a trusted friend and confidant to many.
As we come to terms with this loss, we invite everyone to join us in honoring Ron's memory. Let us extend our deepest love, strength, and sympathy to his family during this incredibly difficult time. Ron’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
