It is with great sadness that Denman Island Fire Rescue (DIFR) shares the passing of long-time Auxiliary member Ralph McCuaig. Ralph suffered a sudden medical condition on July 9th and was promptly admitted to the hospital.
Surrounded by his family and loved ones, he passed away early this morning. DIFR extends our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all the members of the Department. Thank you for your service and rest well, Ralph—you will be greatly missed.
Ralph McCuaig's dedication to Denman Island Fire Rescue was a cornerstone of his life. His commitment to serving the community was unwavering, and his contributions to the department over the years were invaluable.
