Obituary, Death: Paul Froese Edmonton Death - Beloved Guthrie School Teacher Paul Froese Passed Away

It is with deep sadness and profound sorrow that I inform you that Paul Froese passed away suddenly yesterday. Paul was a longstanding teacher at Guthrie School and a valued member of our division. 

His contributions extended beyond the classroom as he also served as the ATA District Representative for Edmonton District. His dedication to education and his commitment to his colleagues and students have left an indelible mark on our community.

Paul’s sudden passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him. His passion for teaching and his unwavering support for his peers made him a beloved figure at Guthrie School and within the Edmonton District. 


He was known for his innovative teaching methods, his ability to inspire students, and his dedication to fostering a positive learning environment. Paul’s legacy is one of excellence in education and heartfelt connection with those he worked alongside.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Paul’s family, his SPS colleagues, and his friends. We understand the profound grief and shock that comes with losing someone so unexpectedly, and we stand with you in your sorrow. 

Paul’s influence reached far and wide, touching the lives of many students, parents, and fellow educators. His memory will continue to inspire us as we navigate through this loss.

A Celebration of Paul’s Life will take place at a future date, allowing us all to come together to honor his memory and reflect on the impact he had on our lives. As you can appreciate, we do not have details at this point about arrangements. 

We will share additional information as it becomes available, ensuring that everyone who wishes to pay their respects and celebrate Paul’s life has the opportunity to do so.
