It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nuer Deng, a cherished member of the Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL) 2021 graduating class and the Judge Memorial class of 2025.
Nuer, of Salt Lake City, Utah, tragically lost his life as an innocent victim of a shooting incident. Our hearts ache for his loving family as they grieve the loss of this incredible young man.
Nuer’s smile lit up the hallways at both Our Lady of Lourdes and Judge Memorial. His presence was a source of joy and positivity to all who knew him.
Teachers, classmates, and friends remember him not only for his academic achievements but also for his kind-hearted nature and unwavering willingness to help others.
Nuer was a bright light in the community, known for his infectious enthusiasm and the genuine warmth he brought into every room.
Throughout his time at OLOL and Judge Memorial, Nuer exemplified the values of compassion, integrity, and resilience.
He was deeply involved in school activities, often volunteering for events and participating in various clubs. His dedication to his studies and his extracurricular activities was admired by many.
Nuer’s passion for learning and his desire to make a difference in the world were evident in everything he did.
