Vista Jr. Eagles Football Player Jakob Southerland, a Leatherby's Folsom employee, tragically passed away Sunday night in an accident. Jakob was a vibrant 19-year-old who was deeply loved by all who knew him. 

His infectious smile could light up any room, and his kind, respectful nature endeared him to everyone who knew him and even those that he had just met.


Jakob was a cherished son, grandson, brother, cousin, a devoted friend, and a beloved member of the Folsom community. His presence was a source of joy and comfort to his family and friends. 

He embodied the true spirit of camaraderie and kindness, always going out of his way to make others feel valued and appreciated. Whether on the football field or at work, Jakob's dedication and enthusiasm were evident in everything he did.

His kindness knew no bounds; he was always the first to lend a helping hand and offer a listening ear to anyone who needed it. Jakob's positive energy and genuine care for others made him a joy to be around.
