Ethan Flint Carmel IN Obituary - Avid Athlete Ethan Flint Death - Ethan Flint Killed In Accident July 3

Ethan S. Flint, aged 34, passed away from his loved ones on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, leaving behind a profound legacy. Born on February 6, 1990, in St. Louis, Missouri, Ethan spent his formative years in Carmel, Indiana.

He graduated from Brebeuf High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University, excelling in research and risk management roles throughout his career.

An enthusiastic athlete from a young age, Ethan embraced both individual and team sports with skill and passion. His devotion extended to his favorite teams—the Colts, Pacers, and Boilermakers—and he fulfilled a dream by visiting Lambeau Field.

Among sporting events, the Indy 500 held a special place in his heart, marked by the poignant rendition of “Back Home Again in Indiana”.

In recent times, Ethan immersed himself in nature, finding joy in wildlife, hiking, and fishing. Together with his beloved partner Bree, he embarked on a mission to explore all the National Parks, having visited 31 to date. While he cherished beach retreats, the mountains of Colorado held his fondest memories.

Ethan’s interests were as diverse as his musical talents; he possessed a beautiful singing voice and a natural aptitude for piano and guitar, composing melodies that resonated with his soul.

His deep affection for his sister Molly was evident, and he cherished every moment spent with his nieces, Lyra and Cora.

A lover of animals and a person of remarkable kindness, intelligence, and compassion, Ethan pursued spiritual truth and self-discovery fervently throughout his too-short life.

His impact on others was profound; everyone who crossed paths with him felt his positivity and warmth. His departure leaves a void, yet his legacy of positivity and kindness continues to inspire.

Ethan is survived by his parents, Robert S. Flint II and Brenda S. Flint, his sister Molly (Flint) Green, her husband Clark Green, his nieces Lyra and Cora Green, his partner Bree Dill, and her children Kate, Jack, and Lauren.

A celebration of Ethan’s life will be held on Sunday, July 14, from 1 to 4 PM at the residence of Greg and Sheryl Dill, 8816 William Penn Circle, Indianapolis, IN 46256. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice in Ethan’s honor.
