Barry Alexander Obituary Warsaw Kentucky - Deputy Fire Chief Barry “Cub” Alexander Death - High School Golf Coach Barry “Cub” Alexander Passed Away

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the members of the Warsaw/Gallatin County Fire Department announce the passing of Deputy Chief Barry “Cub” Alexander Jr. Cub was not only a great friend but also a tremendous leader, mentor, and officer.

He has served this community with dedication and passion since 1984, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he worked with and the community he served.

Deputy Chief Alexander of Warsaw, Kentucky, wore many hats throughout his life. He was a Fire Instructor, EMT, Deputy Fire Chief, Deputy Sheriff, high school golf coach, and CEO of a well-established Safety Management Company.

However, among all his roles, being a father was the most important to him. His commitment to public service and community safety was unparalleled, and he was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Cub's leadership and mentorship have shaped the careers of many firefighters and emergency personnel. His knowledge, experience, and unwavering dedication to safety and education have left a lasting legacy.

He was known for his approachable nature, always ready to lend an ear or provide guidance to those who sought his wisdom. His impact extended beyond the fire department to the many lives he touched through his various roles in the community.

As we mourn the loss of Deputy Chief Alexander, we ask that you keep his sons, William and Nicholas, and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers. The Warsaw/Gallatin County Fire Department also feels this profound loss deeply, as we have lost a cherished member of our family.

Funeral arrangements will be released later, and we will come together to honor Cub's life and legacy. His memory will continue to inspire us, and his contributions to our community will never be forgotten.
