It is with heavy hearts that we announce the recent passing of Austen Cheney, a cherished student at Aaron Parker Elementary School. Austen’s joyful spirit, boundless energy, and ever-present smile brought immense happiness to our school community, and her loss is profoundly felt by all who knew her.
Austen Cheney was a bright light at Aaron Parker Elementary. Known for her infectious laughter and positive attitude, she made a lasting impression on classmates, teachers, and staff. Whether she was in the classroom, on the playground, or participating in school activities, Austen’s enthusiasm and zest for life were evident to everyone around her.
Austen’s boundless energy and joyful spirit were truly remarkable. She approached each day with an eagerness to learn and a willingness to help others, always spreading kindness and cheer. Her smile could light up a room, and her presence brought warmth and happiness to everyone she encountered. Austen’s ability to find joy in the little things and share that joy with others made her a beloved friend to many.
As we remember Austen, our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. The loss of such a vibrant and loving young girl is heartbreaking, and we extend our deepest sympathies to all who are grieving.
To honor Austen’s memory and celebrate her life, services will be held at the Aaron Parker Elementary Gym on Saturday, July 6th, at 2 pm. The family has requested that attendees wear Austen’s favorite colors, pink and purple, as a tribute to her vibrant personality and the joy she brought into the world.
The outpouring of love and support from the Aaron Parker Elementary community is a testament to the impact Austen had on all of us. Her legacy of joy, kindness, and boundless energy will continue to inspire us, reminding us to approach each day with the same enthusiasm and love that she did.
