An accident that occurred on Monday evening on the campus of Florida State University resulted in the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle. In a post to X, the Tallahassee Police Department stated that they are now conducting an investigation into a tragic collision that involved a pedestrian. The collision took place close to the intersection of Lorene Street and Pensacola Street at approximately 6:40 p.m. with the pedestrian. "The pedestrian, an adult female, was struck by a vehicle and died as a result of her injuries." People who commented on a Facebook page that was created for the parents of Florida State University students reported that their children had seen the collision and described it as a hit-and-run.
