Meghan Fowler Charlotte NC Obituary : Meghan Fowler Death - Lowe's Home Improvement Employee Dies In Davidson

The Fowler family, along with friends and the wider community, mourn the passing of Meghan Marie Fowler, a cherished wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who left us on June 10, 2024. Meghan was born on September 2, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia, and her life was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.

Meghan's early years in Atlanta were filled with joy and boundless energy. She was the eldest of three siblings, and from a young age, she demonstrated a natural ability to care for and lead others, traits that would define her throughout her life. Her parents, Michael and Patricia Dawson, recall Meghan as a vibrant and compassionate child, always eager to lend a helping hand and bring happiness to those around her.

Meghan and Joshua settled in Davidson, North Carolina, where they built a loving home and were blessed with three beautiful children: Emily, 14, Nathan, 10, and Olivia, 7. Meghan's dedication to her family was unparalleled; she was a devoted mother who always placed the needs of her children first. Her warmth and kindness created a nurturing environment where her children thrived.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Meghan was an active member of the Davidson community. She volunteered at local schools, was involved in church activities, and was always the first to organize neighborhood events. Her generous spirit and unwavering support were felt by many, and she became a beloved figure in the community.

Her passing has left a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Meghan's legacy is one of love, kindness, and an enduring commitment to making the world a better place. She is survived by her husband Jonathan, her children Emily, Nathan, and Olivia, her parents Michael and Patricia Dawson, her siblings Matthew and Sarah, and countless friends and extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate Meghan's life will be held on June 20, 2024, at Davidson United Methodist Church. The family invites all who knew Meghan to attend and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Davidson Elementary School library fund, a cause Meghan was deeply passionate about.

Meghan is survived by her husband Joshua Van Fowler; father Norman Bruce Walko; daughters Evelyn and Emilia; son Harrison; brother Robert Walko and his wife Maralyn; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Sharon Marie Swette Walko.

Services to celebrate Meghan's life will be held at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina. A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on Friday, June 21, 2024, 10:00 AM at Raymer-Kepner in Huntersville, and will be officiated by Chaplain Jonathan Allen. The family will hold a private interment service at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Charlotte.
