Linda Griffiths Las Vegas NV Obituary : Linda Griffiths Death : Linda Griffiths Passed Away in Ogden, Utah

Linda Griffiths, born on March 15, 1947, in Las Vegas, NV, to Lowell and Helen Griffith, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, at the age of 77 in Ogden, Utah.

Linda was the oldest of seven Griffith children: Tamara (Roger) Calvin, Buff (David), Chad (Jan), Marta (Jennifer), Joe (Marta), and Rex (Ossie).

Her early years were spent at the American Fork Training School, and she later moved to a group home with Turn Community Service, where she found a supportive and loving environment.

Linda's enthusiasm for holidays and special occasions was unmatched, especially Christmas and her birthday.
She was known for her delightful habit of bringing napkins and root beer to celebrations and eagerly asking, "Do you have my present?"

Her infectious laughter and vibrant presence made her the heart and soul of every gathering.

Although she cherished her time with family, Linda also deeply valued her independence and the companionship of her dedicated staff, always looking forward to the next holiday.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Linda's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her love for her family and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ defined her existence.

Despite never marrying, she embraced her role as a loving aunt, affectionately referring to her nieces and nephews as her own children.

Her ability to find joy in the simplest things and her unconditional love made her a beloved figure in her family and community.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Helen Griffiths, and her brother-in-law, Roger Thompson. She is survived by her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish her memory.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Shadow Valley Ward, 5191 Old Post Road, Ogden, UT 84403, at 11 AM. A viewing will take place beforehand from 10 to 10:45 AM at the same location. Interment will follow at the Clarkston City Cemetery.

We invite all who knew Linda to join us in celebrating her remarkable life by sharing memories and uploading photos to her memorial page.

Your tributes will provide comfort to those who loved her and stand as a testament to a life beautifully lived. Let us remember Linda for her laughter, love, and the light she brought into our lives, rather than for her departure.
