Death: Honoring the Legacy of Archie Anderson: A 60-Year Pillar of Our Community

It is with great sadness that we say a final farewell to one of our own. Archie Anderson, a dedicated and beloved member of our department for 60 years, passed away this morning at the age of 96.



Archie's commitment to our department was unparalleled. Throughout his six decades of service, he held multiple key positions, including secretary and treasurer, demonstrating unwavering dedication and integrity. His active involvement in the fire police further exemplified his devotion to the safety and well-being of our community.


Archie was not just a member; he was a mentor and role model to many younger members who joined our ranks. His steadiness, reliability, and exemplary service set a standard for what dedication to our department truly means. He was always there to guide and inspire, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with him.
