It is with overwhelming sadness and heartache that we share the sudden passing of Daniel Corridore at the young age of 45. We were all incredibly blessed with this perfect, selfless angel here on earth for such a short period of time. His unexpected passing has completely devastated his family, friends, and the entire community. We ask for continued prayers for strength as we attempt to navigate this difficult time.
Daniel, affectionately known as Daniele, was born in Toronto, Ontario, on December 15, 1978. He was the youngest of four children born to Armando and Pierina Corridore. From a young age, Daniel exhibited the qualities that would define him throughout his life: kindness, selflessness, and a chivalrous nature.
He was the perfect gentleman, always putting others before himself and making everyone feel special in his presence. His ability to share a compliment or a kind word and his natural inclination to help others endeared him to all who knew him.
Daniel was the cherished and devoted husband of Daniela (née Ciacco) for the past 16 years. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a deep, abiding love. Daniel was the most loving and involved father to his boys, Julian, Vincent, and Giacomo, who, along with Daniela, were the joys of his life. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he took immense pride in his role as a husband and father.
Daniel was predeceased by his beloved parents, Armando and Pierina, as well as his mother-in-law, Barbara. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Domenic and Robert (Naria), his sister, Sandra (Tony), and his sisters-in-law, Maryanne (Claudio) and Susan (Peter). Daniel will also be missed by his father-in-law, Alfredo, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a wide circle of friends. If you knew Daniel, you loved Daniel.
Daniel was a role model and friend not only to his own children but to countless others in the community. Whether coaching, playing, or cheering from the stands, Daniel made every hockey, soccer, football, and baseball moment memorable. His enthusiasm and spirit brought joy to every event he was part of. He was the life of the party, a comforting friend, the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan, and, as we recently learned, an incredible frontman!
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish (300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge). Entombment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
Daniel’s legacy of love, generosity, and community spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He touched many lives with his kindness and will be remembered for the joy and light he brought to the world. Rest in peace, Daniel Corridore. Your memory will forever be cherished.
