It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Crystal Garcia, a cherished daughter and friend, who left us on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the tender age of 20. Crystal's untimely departure at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and community that can never be filled.
Crystal was born on April 26, 2004, in Weslaco, Texas, to Mr. Lorenzo Joseph Garcia and Mrs. Erika E. Ledezma. From the moment she entered this world, Crystal brought joy and light to everyone around her. Her infectious smile and kind spirit were a testament to the beautiful soul she possessed.
As a young girl growing up in Weslaco, Crystal was known for her vibrant personality and her unwavering determination. She attended local schools, where she excelled academically and made numerous friends who would remain close to her throughout her life. Crystal had an innate ability to connect with people, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence to those in need.
Crystal's passions extended beyond the classroom. She was an active member of her community, participating in various volunteer activities and always eager to lend a hand. Her love for helping others was evident in everything she did, from organizing charity events to simply being there for a friend in need.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Camilia Adela Cantu; her father, Mr. Lorenzo J. Garcia; her mother, Mrs. Erika E. Ledezma; her siblings, Anadela Garcia, Margarita Garcia, Belen Garcia, Angela Garcia, Lorenzo J. Garcia and her life partner, Ezra Tafolla.
Visitation for Ms. Crystal Garcia are pending and will be announced at a later date. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
