Christian Isaiah Crook, 23, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at his residence.
Born on June 28, 2000, in Henderson, KY, Christian was the beloved son of Cameron Crook and Shawna Nunn Wharton. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Givins, and his uncle, Vincent Crook.
Christian was a passionate individual who loved playing games and was an avid fan of Duke basketball, the Los Angeles Lakers, and New England Patriots Football.
He enjoyed the thrill of amusement park rides and spent countless hours watching AMP on YouTube. Christian also cherished working alongside his dad on the family food truck. Above all, he treasured the moments spent with his family and friends.
Christian is survived by his parents, Cameron Crook and Shawna Wharton; his stepmother, Tiffany Crook of Madisonville; his girlfriend of 11 years, Ariel Willett of Newburgh, IN; his grandmother, Vanessa Crook of Providence, KY;
his grandfather, Woodrow "Bubba" Nunn of Henderson, KY; and his four brothers, Carter Ervin of Lexington, KY, Canaan Nunn of Madisonville, Keylin Crook of Madisonville, and Preston Pendergraff of Nortonville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville. Burial will follow at Cumberland Hill Cemetery in Providence, KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Christian will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
