Delaware County Linen Shooting Today : 2 dead, 3 injured in shooting at Delaware County Linen in Chester

Five people were shot Wednesday morning at Delaware County Linen in the city of Chester. According to Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer, an employee arrived at work armed with a firearm and opened fire on his colleagues, resulting in a tragic workplace shooting. 



Two individuals were fatally wounded in the incident, and three others sustained injuries. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, is currently in custody.


Stollsteimer, alongside Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretzky, provided details about the incident, emphasizing that the shooting appeared to be motivated by the employee's anger. The authorities are treating the situation as a severe instance of workplace violence.


Delaware County Linen, a long-established business operating since 1988, is located on the 2600 block of West 4th Street. The company has been a significant part of the local community for decades.


In the aftermath of the shooting, law enforcement officials are meticulously processing the crime scene to gather evidence and piece together the events that led to this tragedy. The injured victims were swiftly transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland Borough for medical treatment.
