City Winery Chicago Stabbing : Man stabbed to death during fight at City Winery

A man was fatally stabbed on Wednesday evening at City Winery in the West Loop, officials said. Chicago police reported that the assailant is in custody following the incident.



According to police reports, a 41-year-old man attacked and stabbed a 47-year-old man multiple times during an altercation that occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Randolph Street.
 


The confrontation escalated quickly, leading to the tragic outcome. Chicago police and fire personnel promptly arrived at the scene, with crime scene tape cordoning off the front entrance of City Winery, indicating the severity of the situation.


Eyewitnesses who called 911 described the two men as co-workers at the venue, though this detail has yet to be confirmed by the police. In the immediate aftermath, witnesses attempted to save the victim's life by performing CPR. Despite their efforts, they were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.


This incident has left the community shaken, as City Winery is a popular establishment known for its concerts and dining experiences.
