Bayside High School Palm Bay Shooting Today : Lockdown Reported At Bayside High School In Florida

Bayside High School in Palm Bay, Florida, experienced a lockdown today due to reports of a potential threat. 

According to the Palm Bay Police Department, the school initiated a shelter-in-place order after receiving information about an unidentified person on campus. 

The police conducted a thorough search of the premises and surrounding areas but did not find any firearms. The individual of interest was taken into custody off-campus, and the lockdown has since been lifted.

Officials assured that there was no immediate threat to students or staff, and regular school activities have resumed. Police have advised parents and guardians that traffic in the area remains heavy and to plan accordingly.
