A graduate of Roll High School in 1962, Tom cherished his alma mater and took pride in being part of the last class to walk its halls.

His marriage to Peggy Ann (Baker) on May 31, 1964, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Hartford City, was a cornerstone of his life, grounding him in love and companionship for over six decades.

Family was paramount to Tom, and he embraced his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather with unmatched enthusiasm.

His wife, children, and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he reveled in spending time with them, whether cheering from the sidelines at their activities or simply sharing precious moments together.

Beyond his family, Tom found joy in various pursuits that enriched his life. An avid bowler and member of the Monday Night League, he relished the camaraderie and competition of the sport.

His custodial duties at Zion Lutheran Church and the Hartford City Library were not merely tasks but expressions of his dedication to serving his community with humility and kindness.
