Bentonville man dies in motorcycle accident on Interstate 49

On a clear Friday morning in Rogers, Arkansas, tragedy struck as George Lee Humes II lost control of his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle while traveling south on Interstate 49. 

The serene conditions belied the sudden chaos that unfolded as the motorcycle overturned, eventually coming to a rest in the median near the Pleasant Grove Road exit around 10:45 a.m. 

Despite the absence of adverse weather or road conditions, the unfortunate accident claimed the life of Humes, a 55-year-old Bentonville resident.
