Tracy Hyde Accident North Adams MA - Tracy Hyde Death - Obituary - Former SheJumps Director Tracy Hyde Died After Motorcycle Accident

Tracy Hyde, a cherished member of the SheJumps community, tragically passed away from a brain injury sustained several weeks ago when she was hit by a car while riding her motorcycle. Born in Cohasset, Massachusetts, Tracy later made her home in North Adams, Massachusetts. 

Her dedication to fostering community and outdoor adventure was evident in her numerous roles, including as the former director of SheJumps and as a yoga teacher and outdoor guide at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.

Tracy's passion for adventure and the arts extended to her work as an Art and Adventure Coordinator at TOURISTS Welcome and as an Experience Curator at Madeline Hotel & Residences, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection. 


She was also an event and program manager at TOURISTS Welcome, where she meticulously organized and executed various programs that enriched the lives of participants and celebrated the outdoors.

Tracy's journey with SheJumps began as one of the first-ever volunteers on the East Coast, a role she embraced with enthusiasm and dedication. Her commitment to the organization's mission was unwavering; she spent several years as a volunteer before transitioning to one of SheJumps' first part-time staff members. 

In this capacity, Tracy oversaw partnerships and worked tirelessly to provide volunteers with quality swag and products for their events. Her efforts significantly contributed to fundraising and spreading awareness about SheJumps' mission to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities.

Beyond her administrative and organizational contributions, Tracy played a pivotal role in promoting inclusivity within the SheJumps community. She served on the SheJumps Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee, co-chairing the committee from 2018 to 2019. 

Tracy's leadership in this area helped to foster a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all members, ensuring that SheJumps remained a place where everyone felt valued and empowered.

Tracy's legacy within SheJumps and the broader outdoor and adventure communities will be remembered for her passion, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Her work not only advanced the organization's goals but also inspired countless individuals to pursue their own outdoor adventures and community involvement. 

As a mentor, leader, and friend, Tracy touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of the SheJumps community and beyond, as they continue to honor her dedication to outdoor adventure, community building, and inclusivity. Tracy Hyde's life serves as a testament to the impact that one passionate and committed individual can have on the world around them.
