It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the devastating passing of Mike Davies, who sadly passed away on June 10th, 2024. Mike, affectionately known as Micky D’s, founded Mike Davies Bearings in 1974. 

Through his relentless hard work and dedication, he built an outstanding business that has become a cornerstone in the bearing industry. Mike's brilliance as a business leader and his charismatic personality made him a joy to work with, and he has left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Mike Davies Bearings began as a small venture and grew into a thriving enterprise under Mike's visionary leadership. His commitment to excellence and his innovative approach transformed the company into a trusted name in the industry.

Mike was not only a skilled entrepreneur but also a mentor and friend to many. His ability to inspire and motivate his team was unparalleled, and his legacy will live on through the countless individuals he influenced throughout his career.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mike was known for his warm and generous spirit. He was a man of integrity and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand. 

His infectious sense of humor and his ability to find joy in the simplest moments made him a beloved figure among friends and family. People will cherish the many fond memories they have of him, from his hearty laughter to his sage advice.

Mike's funeral will be held at Cannock Chase Crematorium (Norton Rd, Heath Hayes, Cannock WS12 3HJ) on July 15th at 11:30 am. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects and share their memories of this remarkable man. It will be a time to honor his life, celebrate his accomplishments, and remember the joy he brought to so many.

In recognition of Mike's immense contributions and the profound impact he had on our lives, Mike Davies Bearings will be closed on July 15th and 16th. This closure will allow us to celebrate the extraordinary life of our Dad, Husband, Business Partner, Grandad, Friend, Brother, and most of all, a legend within the bearing industry. 

Mike’s family and colleagues deeply appreciate the support and understanding of their clients and partners during this difficult time.

Mike Davies' passing is a tremendous loss, but his legacy will endure. His pioneering spirit and unwavering dedication have set a standard that will guide us for years to come. As we come together to remember Mike, we celebrate a life well-lived and the enduring impact of a true industry icon.
