It is with deeply heavy hearts that we share with you that one of our founders, Beth O’Hara, has passed away.
Beth was beloved by many, including her family, friends, colleagues, and everyone in this very special community that she built here at Mast Cell 360—which includes you, if you’re seeing this message. Thank you for being here.
We know that you’ve been personally impacted by her work, that you will be saddened by this news, and that this comes as a shock. We wish with all our hearts that we didn’t have to share this news with you today, and we know you will have questions.
While Beth has transparently shared parts of her personal health journey with this community for years, out of respect for her family and to continue to protect Beth’s privacy, we will not be sharing the specifics of her death at this time.
Her family may choose to share more in the future, but for now, all we will share is that we do not believe her death was directly related to her struggle with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, as we know that will be a top concern for many of you.
We ask that you please respect the family’s privacy during this time. We do expect that they will release a personal statement in the coming days and will share that with you if they ask us to.
Beth spent the majority of her life’s work finding ways to heal from Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. She was a leading voice and pioneer in this space.
What started as her own personal healing journey led to her helping thousands, and the work she did has changed many people’s lives for the better. While we are still determining future plans for the business, it is our hope that her work will live on.
We are taking time off from our Facebook Lives and email communications this week to grieve her loss, but we hope to start sending emails (from the very special team of MCAS experts that Beth trusted here at Mast Cell 360) starting again next week.
We know that Beth would want nothing more for you, as a member of her community here, than for you to continue on your healing journey. So, our team will continue to share resources, research, and tools to help support you in the coming days.
Additionally, our other expert practitioners will continue to see clients in the Mast Cell 360 Clinic and will take over Beth’s appointments.
If anything changes in the future, we’ll let you know, but for now, we hope to continue to serve you well and carry on Beth’s legacy.
We will not be sharing any information about private family services with the public, but we may organize an online memorial for the Mast Cell 360 community in the coming days. We are just beginning to talk about this and will update you if it is decided that we will hold something.
Beth truly did reach the most special people in her community and because of who you are, we know many of you will want to help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support and prayers mean the world to us.
While we may seek to raise funds for a cause in Beth’s honor in the future, we do not have anything set up at this time. For now, the best thing you can do to support Beth and her family is to continue to invest in her legacy and life’s work here at Mast Cell 360.
Purchasing Beth’s courses (for yourself or a friend), purchasing any recommendations for supplements or products from our emails, and booking appointments in the clinic—as you normally would—will help keep things stable right now while our team and Beth’s family determine what’s ahead.
In the days ahead, we ask for your patience as we read through your messages via email and in our Facebook Community. Even if we are not able to reply to each person, rest assured that our team and Beth’s family will be reading through them, and we are grateful.
