Jarvis McIntyre St Louis Obituary : Jarvis McIntyre Death : Former Navy Sailor Jarvis McIntyre Found Dead In San Antonio

The family of 26-year-old Jarvis McIntyre believes the body found at John James Park at Holland and Rittiman Road on Friday morning is that of the missing Navy veteran. Monikki Williams Tippet, McIntyre’s mother, stated that after speaking with the Bexar County Medical Examiner, she believes the tattoos on the body are consistent with her son's. “I was praying it wasn’t him,” Tippet expressed, her voice laden with grief and hope for a different outcome.

Tippet was informed by San Antonio police that McIntyre had called 911 and was reportedly seen running in the park on Sunday afternoon. According to reports, McIntyre described a person chasing him as a “racist,” indicating a potentially disturbing motive behind his distress.

Tippet and her family are now urgently seeking answers and imploring anyone with information about McIntyre’s death to come forward. “I want answers now. I want this person found,” she demanded, her plea underscoring the family's desperation for justice and closure.

While the medical examiner has not yet officially confirmed the identity of the body or determined the cause of death, Tippet and her family are convinced that McIntyre was targeted either because of his race or his sexual orientation. McIntyre was known for his distinctive personality and his enjoyment of standing out from the crowd. “He didn’t deserve this. They took my baby’s life for no reason,” Tippet lamented, her sorrow palpable.

McIntyre had flown from St. Louis to San Antonio to visit his two sisters during his birthday weekend. He was supposed to return last Sunday but never made it home. He was last seen on June 8 near Holbrook Road, between Rittiman Road and Corrine Drive.

Alarmed by his sudden disappearance, his mom, stepdad, brother, and aunt flew to San Antonio from St. Louis. Since Wednesday, they had been putting up missing person flyers and searching for any signs of him.

In a poignant gesture, the family brought balloons to the location where the body was found to commemorate McIntyre's birthday. The family has expressed their frustration with the San Antonio Police Department, urging them to intensify efforts to find the person responsible for McIntyre's death.

They noted that McIntyre, an active social media user, had not responded to birthday messages on Monday, which heightened their concerns. The discovery of McIntyre's rental car and belongings just a block away from John James Park off Holbrook Road adds to the mystery.

On Friday, the San Antonio Police Department confirmed a body had been found off Holbrook Road, but they have not officially connected the cases. The family remains hopeful that someone with information will come forward and help piece together what happened to their beloved Jarvis.

The San Antonio Police Department urges anyone with information about this case to contact them at (210) 207-7660. Tippet expressed her gratitude to the social media community for their prayers, reposts, and support during this incredibly difficult time. As the family grapples with their loss, they continue to seek justice and answers for Jarvis McIntyre.
