Truck fire on I-405 in Renton blocks all northbound lanes near NE Park Drive

Since Tuesday morning, a truck fire has completely blocked all of the northbound lanes of Interstate 405 in Renton, which is located around Northeast Park Drive and State Route 900. 

At 6:17 in the morning, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) published a post on X providing information about the event, which included a video of the fire that occurred near milepost 5. 

The video gives the impression that more than one vehicle is consumed by flames. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), emergency teams are currently on their way, and drivers are strongly encouraged to take other routes.
