Devon McCann Fleenor, known for her unwavering dedication and service to her community, transitioned from this world on May 27, 2024. A beloved figure both in her professional endeavors and personal life, Devon's passing leaves a void felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her.


Devon's journey in service began with her affiliation with WCLSC (Westmoreland County Volunteer Rescue Squad) in August 2015. Recognized for her commitment and passion, she swiftly earned the respect of her peers, culminating in her elevation to a full senior member status in April 2016. Throughout her tenure, Devon epitomized the essence of selflessness, responding to countless emergency calls and representing the agency with distinction at numerous events.

In April 2018, Devon embarked on a new chapter in her professional career, channeling her expertise and compassion into the field of athletic training on the East Coast of Virginia. Her impact extended beyond the boundaries of her workplace, touching the lives of athletes and colleagues alike with her expertise and empathy.

Devon's contributions were not confined to her professional endeavors; she was a beacon of strength and kindness in her personal relationships as well. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
